One of the most complete batters of his time, Sachin Tendulkar is an institution when talking about batsmanship. Known as the God of Cricket, he had already become a household name by the time of his engagement to Anjali Mehta in April 1994, on his 21st birthday. Meanwhile, his son, Arjun Tendulkar, has also taken up the same sport as his legendary father and recently made headlines by getting engaged to Saaniya Chandok, granddaughter of prominent Mumbai industrialist Ravi Ghai, on August 13, 2025.

In List A cricket, he has 102 runs and 25 wickets from 18 matches, while in T20s, he has scored 119 runs and claimed 27 wickets across 24 games.

His first big contract came in the IPL when he was picked by the Mumbai Indians in 2021 for INR 20 lakh, but missed the season due to injury. In the following year, he was acquired for INR 30 lakh. The southpaw made his debut in 2023 and has since played five matches, taking three wickets and scoring 13 runs. His IPL earnings so far stand at approximately INR 1.2 crore. From domestic cricket, he earns around INR 10 lakh annually, and his estimated net worth is about INR 22 crore, which includes the value of living in the family’s Bandra home purchased by Sachin in 2007 for INR 39 crore.
