A meeting was hosted by the apex cricketing body in Dubai on Friday, November 7 to discuss a range of vital topics, including the infamous trophy row at the Asia Cup 2025.

The BCCI is understood to have raised the issue of Naqvi possessing the Asia Cup trophy during the meeting. After several members from the ICC emphasized the importance of India and Pakistan in the cricketing economy, a committee was set up in the aim that the Indian team receives the trophy at the early.

The standoff regarding the Asia Cup trophy row was not part of the official agenda. Therefore, no minutes were recorded related to the matter. The meeting in the first place was held to discuss matters such as Women's World Cup expansion, the Olympics, and Mithali Raj's appointment to the ICC Women's Cricket Committee.
